Waste Management
The economic activity of LLP Expressoil is directly tied to the production of garbage. Waste management at the Company is carried out in line with the Republic of Kazakhstan’s environmental legislation, international standards, and internal regulatory documents implemented by subsidiaries and affiliates. Waste management regulations have been tightened as part of the transition to the Republic of Kazakhstan’s new Environmental Code, which went into effect on July 1, 2021. Aware of the growing threat to human health and the environment as a result of increased production and generation of hazardous and other wastes, the group of enterprises of LLP Expressoil commits to regularly assess options to minimize the volume and/or polluting capability.
The management of the LLP Expressoil group of companies is responsible for the implementation of the Waste Management Programme, the purpose of which is to reduce the generation of hazardous and other wastes of production and consumption and minimize their negative impact on the environment, as well as the goals in the field of hazardous and other types of waste reduction, timely analysis of their implementation, and revision.
