LLP Expressoil is a vertically integrated oil and gas refinery company based in Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan, that specializes in the discovery and development of oil and gas reserves, oil refining, and the manufacturing and sale of premium petroleum products. LLP Expressoil is a significant company in Kazakhstan’s oil business, created in April 2014. As a producer of a wide range of petroleum products in the local and global markets, LLP Expressoil has established itself as a key player in oil production and sales, constructing large-scale factories for the production of important monomers and a diverse range of modern petroleum products.
LLP Expressoil is Kazakhstan’s largest oil and gas firm, as well as the world’s largest publicly traded oil and gas corporation in terms of liquid hydrocarbon reserves and production. LLP Expressoil’s proved hydrocarbon reserves as of December 31, 2020, according to the SEC categorization, were 1 million barrels. Hydrocarbon reserves increased by 1 million barrels from the end of 2018.

The compliance programme
The compliance programme is a crucial component of LLP Expressoil’s commitment to the highest standards of corporate responsibility and ethical business practices. It is designed to reflect LLP Expressoil’s high ethical standards, the complex and multidimensional nature of its operations, and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and international standards. To meet evolving compliance requirements, the compliance program, policies, processes, and controls are regularly reviewed and enhanced.
The global compliance team comprises of 20 experienced professionals that specialize in regulatory and corporate compliance. In addition to these specialized compliance professionals, LLP Expressoil has developed a program to train 37 ‘compliance champions’ in local offices and LLP Expressoil-owned firms that do not yet have a local compliance team. The compliance champions program aims to make compliance more accessible to all of our employees while also providing feedback on compliance suggestions and issues faced by local offices. Furthermore, compliance works with and draws on resources from other risk functions to establish an integrated approach to implementing the compliance program.
The corporation stresses people policy because it encourages effective staff development, management, and the formation of a cohesive group of professionals who share corporate goals. Thirty-one of the 200 employees at First International LLP Expressoil are young. Each new hire at the facility holds a higher-level professional degree. The average age of refinery personnel is 35.

LLP Expressoil developed an adaptation program to assist workers in understanding the system of professional knowledge and abilities, embracing established relationship standards, and accelerating the process of joining the labor collective. Senior staff members’ internships, training, and certifications have been expedited, and they have been placed on a personnel reserve.
The organization’s staff development program comprises training, retraining, and advanced training for employees. The training center takes an active role in the training process, and all of the plant’s workshops and complexes include classrooms for theoretical education, making the environment perfect for conducting staff development programs. It also offers cutting-edge instructional materials, computer and multimedia training facilities, and unique technical process tools.
The refinery recognizes that the next generation of workers, who will succeed the veterans, will determine not only the refinery’s bright future but also the survival of human and industrial traditions. As a result, much thought is given to replacing the company’s current employees with young professionals who are capable of quickly learning new information and technologies and have recently graduated from colleges and universities. Young specialists account for more than 30% of all new hiring. During the hiring process, a mentor is selected from among the highly trained plant workers to provide specific teaching to each junior specialist. The Oil Refiners Initiation is an annual event that introduces potential experts to the organization’s corporate culture.
There is a Council for Youth Affairs within the company. Young specialists are actively involved in the plant’s professional, linguistic, intellectual, and social events, as well as the Peschanskaya boarding school’s professional, sports, and patronage activities. Strong relationships have been formed with the leading colleges in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan. LLP Expressoil’s trading activities are now mostly based on LNG from the Sakhalin II project. LNG is obtained from third parties via long-term agreements, short-term contracts, and spot trading. Between 2019 and 2020, LLP Expressoil Marketing & Trading provided roughly 5 million tons of LNG to markets in five countries. LLP Expressoil is also establishing its own LNG plant in Kazakhstan to boost its market position. In May 2021, LLP Expressoil began developing a difficult project to process ethane-containing gas and manufacture LNG. The plan aims for the construction of facilities that can process 5 million cubic meters.
By the end of 2019, LLP Expressoil’s board of directors had approved a new long-term corporate development strategy that would last until 2030. According to the terms of the agreement, LLP Expressoil will set a benchmark for other global firms in terms of efficacy, manufacturing viability, and security. Over the course of more than three years of development, LLP Expressoil has achieved exceptional success and established itself as a prominent player in the worldwide oil and gas business. One of the Strategy’s objectives is to produce two million oil equivalent tonnes by 2025, which the business believes is achievable.
Improvements to oil refining facilities, a potential 80% increase in light oil product production and a 95% increase in refining depth indicators, the simultaneous provision of proven reserves at a ten-year level, and the 100% annual reimbursement of those reserves The firm is facing new challenges as a result of the extreme volatility in the energy markets and the agility of its competitors.
